Our Rotaract Club at Keystone School of Engineering is not only highly active in Club Service, but also very active in doing various projects. After knowing about our End Polio campaign and Rotary's role in Polio Immunization, the Rotaract board approached us wit idea of they running a Booth and run a promotion campaign. Below is activity they did: 1) Organized an independent booth in Karve Nagar at a prominent locality near Pegasus/Agraj/Jahagirdar Bakery. 2) The administered doses to over 400 children on each NID 3)24 Rotaractors volunteered and ran the booth from 8am to 5pm. They prepared schdule for 2 hours per batch of 3-4 volunteers by turns 3) They managed whole operations from collecting doses from PMC Hospital to filing reports 4) They educated/answered all questions of people who visited booth (our two volunteers just were around to ensure they don't do anything wrong) 5) They ran a promo Van and went around to bigger societies in area and promoted vaccination. Benefits of project were: 1) 400 beneficiaries got vaccination each time. 2) Rotaractors got experience of running a project of this scale and in real life situation 3) They learnt to communicate, talk about project and benefit, do all formalities like record keeping, marking on hand of child, making report to PMC etc 4) Learnt management skills, scheduling, etc and ran it effectively 5) Great PI for Rotary and Pristine as they had booth at high visibility place. Many commoners came and inquired Because of this Rotaract activity, Pristine could run two booths - one at Seva sadan managed by Rotarians and other at Karve Nagar, managed by Rotaract
